What we're looking for is angst. Lots and lots of angst. But we also want a glimmer of light, a sighting of a possible light at the end of the tunnel, if you will.
The contest is inspired by Jasper's story from Eclipse. How he was in war, then killed to be reborn again into a new life and plunged into an entirely different war. He suffered hopelessness, anger, depression and a whole slew of negative emotions. Then he let Peter and Charlotte escape, who came back for him later to get him out of Maria's clutches. Even after that though, he suffered each and every time he fed and became more and more depressed. Then he wandered around and ended up in Philadelphia, where he met Alice.

So, dear authors, give us your best gut wrenching, soul twisting angst, but before all is said and done give us a breath of fresh air, a taste of relief.
